Stone Cross is situated just north of Eastbourne in East Sussex at the junction of the B2247 (Dittons / Rattle Road) and the B2104 (Hailsham Road / Lion Hill). Stone Cross is signposted from the A27, A22 and A259 main roads.

The Parish Centre is attached to St Luke’s Church, which is located at the main crossroads (traffic lights) in the centre of Stone Cross, diagonally opposite from the Red Lion P.H. (not to be confused with the Village Memorial Hall, which is on the other northern corner of the crossroads).

The car park entrance for the Church and Parish Centre is very close to the traffic lights at the top of Peelings Lane, just off Rattle Road (see Bird's Eye view above).

 

Travelling by Bus

The crossroads at Stone Cross is on four local Stagecoach bus routes:

  10   Old Town / Terminus Road / Seaside / Langney / Stone Cross / Westham / Pevensey Bay (hourly)

  11   Terminus Road / Seaside / Sovereign Harbour / Langney / Stone Cross / Hailsham (every 30 mins)

  54   Terminus Road / DGH / Langney / Willingdon / Polegate / Stone Cross / Hailsham / East Hoathly / Uckfield (variable)

  56   Sovereign Harbour / Pevensey Bay / Langney / Westham / Stone Cross / Polegate / Willingdon (hourly)

 

Travelling by Train

The nearest railway station is Pevensey and Westham. This is about 30 minutes walk away from St Luke's Parish Centre or 5 minutes by taxi / No. 56 bus (see above).
